When God Weaves the Small Things Together

When God Weaves the Small Things Together

Sometimes I find myself thinking about how quietly God moves. Not in big, dramatic moments, but in the small yeses, the unexpected conversations, and the steps that don’t always feel significant at the time. Looking back, those are often the exact places where everything starts to take shape.

Radiant Hope Collective is one of those things for me. It didn’t begin with a plan or a strategy. It began in Kenya, with women I met whose lives and faith left a lasting imprint on me. I remember sitting with them and realizing I was witnessing something so much deeper than a moment or an experience. Their hands were creating something beautiful, but their lives carried a strength and dignity that stayed with me long after I came home.

I didn’t come back with clarity on what it would all become. I just knew I couldn’t ignore what God had stirred in me. Over time, what started as a simple connection turned into Radiant Hope Collective, a way to stay connected to those women, their work, and the story God was writing through them. Every bracelet represents more than something handmade. It represents opportunity, partnership, and hope being lived out in very real ways.

Now, somehow, that journey is leading to She Speaks with Proverbs 31 Ministries. As I think about that, it feels like one of those moments where you can see pieces starting to connect, even if you didn’t know how they would fit together in the beginning. The women in Kenya, the women gathering in person at She Speaks, and the thousands joining online all feel part of a much bigger story. Different places, different seasons, but the same God working through each of us in ways we don’t always see right away.

As we prepare for this next step, I don’t feel pressure to have everything figured out. I feel grateful. Grateful for the women who first reminded me what faithfulness looks like in everyday life. Grateful for the women who will gather next week, each carrying their own story and calling. And grateful that God takes ordinary moments and somehow weaves them into something far beyond what we could plan or build on our own.

At the end of the day, Radiant Hope has never really been about what we are creating. It’s about what God has been faithfully weaving all along, through unexpected places, willing hands, and the women behind every bracelet who continue to inspire us with their resilience and faith. And we believe God is just getting started.
