Meet Our Founder

My name is Scottlyn McCullough, and my entire life has been shaped by the question, "How will you serve?" My connection to Africa began in 7th grade when a young girl named Moreen from Malawi received my shoebox from Operation Christmas Child. Months later, her mother saved what little she had to send me a letter, expressing eternal gratitude. That moment changed my heart, and I knew I was called to serve in Africa.

Years later, God placed a dream in my heart to create a jewelry business that would help women, especially mothers in Africa, break the cycle of poverty. I kept this dream close, waiting for the right time. After unexpectedly losing my father, my husband and I decided to go on a mission trip to Kenya. It was there, during our time in Kajabe and Namuncha, that Pastor George shared the need for a sustainable income for women in his community. I knew then that it was time to bring my dream to life, and the vision for Radiant Hope Collective began to take shape.

Radiant Hope Collective exists to empower women and give them the resources they need to support their families. Through handcrafted jewelry, we aim to provide a way for women in Kenya to earn a living while preserving their cultural heritage. Each piece of jewelry tells a story of resilience, love, and hope.

While in Kenya, I met a young girl named Faith Natasha. Her smile and kindness extended beyond any language barrier, and she walked with me every day. Her mother gave me a bracelet as a simple, heartfelt gesture, and it felt like confirmation of the mission I was called to pursue. Sadly, after returning home, I received the heartbreaking news that Faith’s mother had passed away during childbirth, highlighting the dire need for support and resources in their community.

Radiant Hope Collective is dedicated to women like Faith’s mother—women who are full of love and strength but face immense challenges. Our mission is to create a brighter future for these women and their children by providing them with opportunities to earn an income and access resources that can change their lives. We believe that through small, meaningful steps, we can make a lasting impact in their communities and help break the cycle of poverty for generations to come.
